  1. Thanks for doing this each month. I try to do one weekly based on sales, but that doesn’t alwasy happen. I like that you have a different “theme” each day of the week. Keeps things new. Do you make adjustments according to sale flyers or do you try to stick with it as much as possible?

  4. How do you come up with these? They are fantastic! I have to modify them a bit because of my kids’ food allergies to wheat, dairy, chocolate, tomatoes, and peanuts. It is so wonderful to have a starting point at least.

  6. Hi Erica,

I love your website/blog and I’m about to start my masters in education – curricula, instruction, and assessment to hopefully begin developing my own curricula after completion. I homeschool my children (8,5,2), but it isn’t what I wanted to “speak my mind” about. I just looked at your meal plans and while I appreciate the thought and work that goes into such planning (I wish I was a bit better at meal planning!) but I wanted to comment that your meals are really meat-centric with quite a bit of carbohydrates included into the meals. You and your family look healthy and beautiful, and I hope it always stays that way; but a diet heavy in meat/animal products has been correlated to higher rates of cancer and other nutritionally related health problem. I’m not sure how much interest you have in nutrition but I think if you if were to change your diet just slightly to reduce your meat intake (even if it was just on your meal plan) you would be setting a GREAT example of nutrition to all of your followers. To save on money, to increase our vegetable-based nutrition goals, to help do our part by buying more sustainable food such as vegetables instead of meat, we are only eating meat three times a week and in small amounts. We are substituting meat with a lot of beans and/or vegetables. But this isn’t about what we’re doing, I just wanted to email you because I enjoy you, have a great respect for what you do, and I think you could really make a difference in the nutritional outlook of your followers if you offered a meal plan that was more plant-based.

Anyways, I hope all is well.
